Equipment

01. Canon EOS 40D. A reliable, old-school camera with perfect ergonomics—the project is named after it. It features a magnesium alloy body and "honest" 10.1 megapixels (nearly equivalent to 4K resolution). Its sensor provides real image quality and micro-contrast.

02. Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM. The primary tool for managing space. It has reference-level geometry and creates incredible depth. This lens is perfect for architecture and interiors, where every millimeter of the viewing angle matters.

03. Sigma 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 OS A lens that handles all tasks beyond the reach of the wide-angle lens. The huge focal range and 200mm maximum (which equals 320mm with the 1.6x crop factor) cover 95% of shooting scenarios from a distance—from street photography to distant details (except for wildlife photography, which requires 500mm+).

04. Canon Speedlite 580EX II A professional flash that allows me to create my own light patterns instead of fighting high-ISO noise, even in difficult lighting conditions.
05. Tripod and Remote Control Essential tools for exposure bracketing (HDR), Brenizer Method panoramas, and achieving maximum sharpness at base ISO.
06. Lightroom Classic 15 + AI. Using advanced AI Denoise and Super Resolution algorithms, I transform 10MP RAW files into high-detail images. This also includes histogram correction, filters, effects, and lens distortion correction.
